NH HoneyBee Mural Being Painted in August!

This August international artist Matt Willey is coming to New Hampshire to paint a fifty-foot mural depicting the beauty of honey bees on the south-facing outside entrance wall of Peterborough’s Community Center.

He will capture the unique elegance of honey bees as part of his ambitious world-wide initiative to raise awareness about pollinators by painting murals on public walls throughout the world. His inspiring story can be seen  at www.thegoodofothehive.com.

The Monadnock Bee Keepers Association unanimously voted in support of this project with a generous contribution for the mural. Additionally, the Monadnock Beekeepers will be initiating community and educational fund-raising events and activities, and a member-donated honey sale in support of this mural. (The estimate for bringing Matt to New Hampshire for the month, for his design work, to fund equipment and supplies, and for filming is $20,000.00)  Please feel free to visit and share the link to our donor page:  http://c-fund.us/gbb

The mural, ensuing community and educational events and their ultimate, multiple achievements of raising public awareness and fostering interest in all pollinators, are in alignment with the goals and objectives of the New Hampshire beekeepers.
